SPARRING SEMINAR FOR BEGINNERS

Saturday 28th November

2.00 to 3.00pm at The Meres Leisure Centre, Trent Road, Grantham.  Over 13yrs only.  £10 per person.  This seminar will provide an opportunity for students to try sparring with other beginners, there will be safety equipment provided for your use - however you must purchase your own gumshield prior to the seminar (£2.50) as they need moulding.  Please contact Garreth Jones to book in, telephone number 0795 1018002 or email garrethjones@btinternet.com

FREE SEMINAR!

Professional Martial Arts School will be holding its annual Free Seminar this year on Saturday 12th December from 2-4pm in The Table Tennis Centre at The Grantham Meres Leisure Centre, Trent Road, Grantham. The Seminar will give students from different clubs a chance to meet and try different aspects of martial arts as taught by some of Professional Martial Arts Schools Instructors on the day.  Please note that due to some of the content, this seminar is only open to over 13 year olds.   Please let your Instructor know if you will be attending. 

BLACK BELT GRADING

A Black Belt Grading for all ages will be held at The Grantham Meres Leisure Centre in The Small Hall from 2-4pm on December 6th.  Forms available on request.  You will need to have attended a Black Belt Preparation Seminar and be approved to grade by your Instructor before applying.
Requirements

Parents are allowed to be present in the Grading but please respect that this is a serious event. PKA Principal and Founder Mr M Haig will be officiating at the Grading. The Black Belt 1st Degree fee is £200, 2nd Degree Grading is £250 and can be paid in advance or on the day. Please let your Instructor know if you are putting in an application as soon as possible. A re-take is free of charge but application forms must be completed and submitted before the day.

PKA Black Belts are awarded not only on achieving a high standard of martial arts ability through hard work but also for dedication and demonstration of positive attitude towards your martial arts training. The PKA Principal will inform you directly of your result in writing, your Instructor will not have your result.

    • PKA License (in date)
    • Grading Application Form signed by your Instructor
      • Demonstration Of Advanced Kickboxing Techniques (Shadow Kickboxing)
      • Advanced Techniques On The Focus Pads
      • Power work, Advanced Spinning and Jump Techniques On The Strike Shield
      • Partner Work Demonstrating Skill And Control Of Techniques
      • Partner Work Demonstration Advanced Techniques, Accuracy, Speed and Power Using The Focus Pads
      • Grading Sequences 1 to 16 for 1st Degree Adults
      • Grading Sequences 1 to 20 for 2nd Degree Adults

    Coaching Team Course
